'The unsuitable American': Wallis is always getting a bad rap. Good review though for a super film.

The James Bond walk with Justin made for a fantastic Saturday night in London. We walked through beautiful neighborhoods all while learning about the City, and of course the infamous 007. Also, the pub stops were exceptionally charming! I can’t wait to go back and check out other walks.

The actors of this film definitely deserve the nominations they are getting - and I hope the script writers too.
It is poignant in the revelations of the cause of the stammer, far funnier than one would think to cover the death of a monarch, the abdication of a King, the buildup to war. There is the contrast between the solidarity of family life with the princesses at home and the need for him to speak directly to the nation. His wife is a vital element in support and encouragement, refusing to give up looking for the right key to unlock him from his stammer. A little of the script at least is reputed to be verbatim from the diary of Logue, recording the King's own humour in his quip at the end of his first big ordeal on the wireless to have thrown in a wobble on the 'w' to let the nation - indeed at the time, the Empire - that is was him.
